“The Old Testament is the part of the Bible written before Jesus was born. Its writings were completed in 450 B.C. The Old Testament, written hundreds of years before Jesus’ birth, contains over 300 prophecies that Jesus fulfilled through His life, death and resurrection.”” [1]

“God is real. His design is everywhere. In the galaxies, the Earth, land, volcanoes, fountains in the deep oceans, flowers, in the different types of animals, and in the organisms that battle inside of our bodies. All of creation screams God exists! Also, it is undisputed that Jesus Christ walked this Earth, so we know that He existed in the flesh. We also know that He claimed to be the Son of God and God. We also know that He performed righteous miracles and taught with Godly wisdom. Jesus Christ came to do many things, but one was to testify to the truth. We have preserved copies of His Words and witness testimonies of people who walked with Him and people who received the Holy Spirit after He resurrected and then testified about Him!
The Old Testament tells us of the old covenant that God made with His people, and the New Testament tells us of the new covenant that God made with all of those who place their trust in Christ and follow Him. We see in the Old Testament how man could not meet the righteous standards of God, due to the fall of humanity through the sins of our ancestors Adam and Eve. We see how Levitical priests sacrificed animals to atone for the sins of God’s people.[2]
In the New Testament, we see God born in the flesh and humbling Himself to be the final sacrifice to atone for the sins of those who trust and follow Him! It is amazing that we have a holy, righteous, powerful, loving, and merciful God who made a way for sinners!
We know that Jesus Christ quoted scripture from the Old Testament thereby validating it while rebuking the religious leaders for their interpretation of some of the laws.
Also, here’s an interesting fact. “The Old Testament is the part of the Bible written before Jesus was born. Its writings were completed in 450 B.C. The Old Testament, written hundreds of years before Jesus’ birth, contains over 300 prophecies that Jesus fulfilled through His life, death and resurrection.”[1]
For example, Isaiah 53 was written approximately hundreds of years before Jesus Christ’s birth, and it is speaking of Him:
Who hath believed our report? and to whom is the arm of the Lord revealed? For he shall grow up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground: he hath no form nor comeliness; and when we shall see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him. He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not. Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the Lord hath laid on him the iniquity of us all. He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth. He was taken from prison and from judgment: and who shall declare his generation? for he was cut off out of the land of the living: for the transgression of my people was he stricken. And he made his grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death; because he had done no violence, neither was any deceit in his mouth. Yet it pleased the Lord to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the Lord shall prosper in his hand. He shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied: by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear their iniquities. Therefore will I divide him a portion with the great, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong; because he hath poured out his soul unto death: and he was numbered with the transgressors; and he bare the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors. Isaiah 53 KJV [Emphasis Added]
Also, we can study the Dead Sea Scrolls and the New Testament manuscripts online.[3] In addition to the preserved copies of witness testimonies, we have proof that Jesus Christ still changes lives! What all Christians know is that the truth sets a man or woman free.”
“Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” (John 8:31-32 KJV)
“Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin. And the servant abideth not in the house for ever: but the Son abideth ever. If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.” (John 8:34-36 KJV)
