After I gave my life to follow Jesus Christ, I began writing songs, most of which are unfinished or in draft format. I often wonder if some Christian friends will come along one day so that we can complete them or if I should make more time to get ’em done and take voice lessons. 🙂
Waken
This is one of the first poems I wrote. For a brief period, a San Antonio musician, Chris Taylor, took poems and turned them into songs for a small fee, so I paid him to turn mine into a song! Last year, while driving, I added some vocals of mine.
In Your Arms (Piano Version)
This is a piano version of one of the first songs I wrote.
In Your Arms (Country Version)
I’m Enough, In Christ
I wrote this after reading part of Ephesians. I will eventually revise the lyrics to indicate I’m enough in Christ! Only because His righteousness is declared to me makes me “enough,” and that’s it!
Why Do We Lie to God? (Partially Complete)
I used a Voloco beat for this song. This poem/song was a fragment of a much longer one.
Change of Heart
This is a draft of one of the first songs I wrote, along with In Your Arms. I have another version that sounds more country.
